An Update on Statbooks
over 3 years ago – Mon, Nov 30, 2020 at 12:53:15 AM

Greetings Forlorn Souls,

Perhaps a bit too much on the nose, its been a rough year and I hope you all have been doing alright during this crazy year.

I know many of you haven't seen any of the statbooks since the 5e one, and given the holidays I've had a few reach out asking the status or for access for a few of the files. Now that I'm finally settled in our digital ecosystem (and through trial and error via mistakes done on other projects), I feel more equipped to do digital fulfillment through our own platform.

The job is running right now and you should receive an Embers Backer Rewards: Order # email from [email protected] . This is taken from the backerkit data, and will include every reward that you're entitled to. But a few things to note:

  • You don't need to create an account on MWG (unless you want to, it might require me to send out an invitation, just ask me, I'm looking at doing a bulk invite later on, again this is optional)
  • There is a direct link to your downloads in the email (if you cant find it or need it to go to a different email address, just let me know and I can swap the address and resend it)
  • Once you open the download link, you'll get notifications when we update the file, which you can opt-out of.

A number of these statbooks are currently placeholders. I have a number of files and manuscripts that I need to update and upload, but providing you access to everything now, will make future fulfillment and later-release easier for me.

I hope everyone is doing well, and IDK if you all have been playing Demon Souls, but damn it looks good (rip not owning a PlayStation)

All the best,

Andreas

Also if you want files on DTRPG or missing any other files, feel free to use this form, and we'll get you sorted out.

Interactive vs Print Layouts
over 4 years ago – Sat, Aug 31, 2019 at 02:43:37 AM

Hey Everyone!

Since you are the end users of the statbooks, I've had a curious question that I've been brewing on since working on the 5e stabook. As some of you may have noticed, I've done some experimentation with interactive PDFs, deviating from the standard book-style layout and I wanted to get your opinion on it.

What do you think of the interactive layout? and do you prefer it over the print layout? (just a note, if I were to print these in softcover, I would adjust them for print layout, since buttons would be pretty useless)

Anyways, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter.

Shipping Update
about 5 years ago – Fri, Feb 15, 2019 at 03:31:53 PM

 Hey All!!

As many of you know, gamesquest has already shipped out your orders with many of you already reporting they have arrived. If you're still missing your books or haven't gotten an email from GamesQuest please reach out to me via email andreas(at)metalweavegames.com and I'll get you storted out.

Also, I've seen a few comments of Book damage, issues with the shrinkwrap (new problem), and chunks of pages missing (you'll know on a flipthrough). Just send an email to me with some images to the above and I'll get you sorted out as well (gotta figure out if this is a manufacturer issue or something else).

Statwise, I have a bunch of stuff I'm putting into layout (pathfinder stats..13th age writeout) and SOTDL coming soon...so been keeping busy with a lot to deliver to all of you!

Thanks for bearing and if you have any stories using Emebrs please share them with me!

Enjoy and thanks for being awesome

Andreas

EU Shipping Updater

 Hey All!

So a few days after I send my legal notice, the shipment magically arrives at the warehouse. I've already sent the shiplist to GamesQuest to process, however I do not yet have a timetable on when these will get shipped out (waiting on emails from GQ).

When I get more information I'll be sure to let you know

Andreas
